Be intentional in prayer

Prayer is one of the most important things that a person can do to keep up his faith in God no matter which religion or caste he belongs to. It is the time to communicate with God and it should be taken very seriously. While there is deep theological meaning in prayer, it doesn't have to be something that is complicated and difficult. It's something anyone can do anywhere at any time whenever they wish.

Christians interpret the response they might get to their prayers in the following ways:

1)     God answers prayers, but not always in the way the person wants.

2)     Praying can help the believer come to a greater understanding of God's purpose for their lives

3)     Prayer can also help people to handle difficult emotions and hence those who choose to pray to find personalized comfort during hard times.

How can we be intentional with our prayer?

Being intentional with our prayer is about more than getting up early or staying up late. It's capturing those moments throughout the day where and when we can pray, praise, and thank God. Jesus set aside time to pray, separated from others and we should do the same. Remember, prayer is a conversation, your prayers do not have to be long to be heard. You can pray whenever the spirit moves you.

Whenever you see something that reminds you of a particular person, or if a particular person comes to mind, pray for them. They came to your mind for a reason. Spontaneous thoughts or images are often from God. Be aware that He is speaking to you and prompting you to pray.

When you enter His presence with PRAISE, He enters your circumstances with POWER.
