Dr Kathleen Murphy is a member of the Religious Congregation of the Sisters of Our Lady of Mercy and author of: The Women of the Passion and In the Spirit of Pentecost (ST PAULS Publishing). She also wrote Advent Reflections for the Scottish Catholic Observer, and contributed to the Veritas publication Hear O Islands and to Recusant History. She has lectured in biblical studies and spirituality, and worked in adult religious education, Catholic teacher training, prison ministry, victim support, hospice and hospital visitation, with the Samaritans and the homeless. She is a contributor to the Christian Radio/You Tube programme Sunday Night Live.
